The teamwork in this story… slow clap from everyone in the audience, please, because this is something special. We don't know if we have ever read about a group of coworkers coming together the way that this one did, and personally, we think that this is inspirational. The time this must have taken, the risk, the effort… and all worth it in the end. Thank you for going out of your way to help these itty bitty kitties. They might not be able to say it, but all of you definitely need to hear it.

In some ways, we are thankful for this council doing this and helping stray cats out. In another way, it does lead to situations like these, where mommas who should have been with their babies, and might have been on their way back to their babies, were separated from them. We don't know if there is a clear-cut way of avoiding this, but we think that if this council sees that a cat is nursing - a new momma - then maybe, before capturing her, they should let her get back to her babies, so they could be brought in and possibly find their forever homes.

Sometimes, the cat distribution has funny delivery methods. We've said it before, and we will say it again - you never know when or where or how your future cat will adopt you. It could be in the normal way - with you walking through a shelter until the most purrfect cat in the world catches your eye and changes your whole world. Or it could be you getting handed a kitten through a Starbucks window, or you getting five kittens ding-dong-ditched on your front door one night with no warning, or a kitten could literally fly in through your window, into your lap, and straight into your heart.
Or maybe, it'll happen more like it happened for this group of coworkers. On a completely normal day, these guys were in the office when, and we quote, "the ceiling at work meowed at us". And just like that, after an incredible adventure of trying to rescue the itty bitty kitties, your whole life changes. Either way, no matter how it happens, we can promise you one thing - cat distribution system deliveries, funky as they may be, are always purrfect. That cat will be your pawfect match and your other half for the rest of its life.
